Profile Monitoring

Every 5 minutes our server fetches the public profile page of each monitored account using a headless browser. It inspects the HTML for signals of account status — active, inactive, deleted, or deactivated — and compares to the previous check. If the status changed, an email is sent immediately.

Yes. Even private profiles have a public-facing page that shows whether the account exists. We detect it as 'active' (private account exists) or 'inactive' (account deleted/deactivated). We don't access private content — only the public status page.

Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter/X are fully supported. All three can detect active vs. inactive status and send email alerts. Follower count tracking works best on Instagram and Twitter. Facebook returns follower counts on a best-effort basis depending on the page's public visibility settings.

Two types of events trigger alerts: (1) Status change — a profile switches from active → inactive or inactive → active. (2) Follower count change — any change in follower count is detected and queued. To avoid email spam, changes within a 2-minute window are batched into one summary email showing the total delta (e.g. +50 followers).

Click any monitor row to open its detail view. You'll see a toggle labeled 'Track followers, following & posts'. Enable it per profile, or use the global toggle in the Overview tab to enable it for all monitors at once. Counts are shown in the detail view with a history graph.

Checks run every 5 minutes for all active monitors. This interval is shared across all plans. Going faster risks hitting Instagram's rate limits and getting the scraper temporarily blocked, which is why we cap it at 5 minutes.

The Test button triggers an immediate one-off check outside the 5-minute cycle. It fetches the profile right now and reports back the current status. Useful after adding a new profile or if you suspect a change happened between scheduled checks.

No. We only read the publicly available profile page — the same page any visitor sees in a browser. The account owner has no way to detect or be notified that their profile is being checked.

Yes. Add the influencer's account and monitor it for a few days before committing. You'll see real follower count history — not a static screenshot. Sudden large spikes (bought followers) or an account that goes inactive are major red flags you'll catch before paying.

Follower change emails use a rich HTML design with a visual progress bar showing before and after counts, a large delta badge (e.g. ↑ +240 followers), and a detection window showing the time range of the change. Multiple changes within 2 minutes are batched into one email to prevent inbox spam.

Yes. The Pro plan supports 5 monitors — enough for small agency use. Each monitored account gets its own check log, uptime percentage, and follower history. Email alerts fire to the registered address so you can stay on top of all client accounts without logging in daily.
